About Us

Casa de los Angelitos is a not-for-profit maternity home that has been helping pregnant women in crisis situations since 1986. Casa provides a safe, secure, compassionate environment for the women and their infants, the only home of its kind in the South Bay area of Los Angeles, California.

Casa’s 5-bedroom residence is situated in a residential neighborhood in Harbor City, just minutes away from hospitals, schools, shopping centers, churches, and entertainment venues. The residential setting fosters a family-like atmosphere, encouraging women to cook meals together and share insights about pregnancy, as well as discuss their aspirations and dreams for the future.

Casa Casa provides a nurturing and structured living environment for women and their infants. Our programs are specifically designed to assist young women in acquiring the knowledge and skills necessary for parenting and independent living, all while recognizing and addressing the stresses associated with pregnancy.

Casa offers a range of supportive services, including education, counseling, guidance, friendship, and fostering a sense of self-worth, to empower mothers and their babies for a brighter future. Since its establishment, Casa has cared for over eight hundred babies. Many of the women who have been a part of Casa’s programs have gone on to lead successful and fulfilling lives. Casa’s intervention has played a role in these positive outcomes, contributing to the women’s achievements and well-being.
