Kim Kozak Joins Casa de los Angelitos Board of Directors!

A personal word from Kim …

Hello! My name is Kim Kozak. I grew up in the Midwest but fortunately made my way to sunny California for college, graduating from UC Santa Barbara with a Business degree. I moved to LA to pursue my career in public accounting and then made my way into commercial real estate, where I have been working for over 25 years. In my current job, I help new hires within our company who are starting out their careers and teach and mentor them to succeed, especially women. After surviving cancer twice, I got involved with an organization called “Walk With Sally” where I became a mentor to a 10 year old girl whose dad died of pancreatic cancer. I am also seven years sober and have a good understanding of addiction. I have seen firsthand what addiction can do to people of all ages. As part of my sobriety, I live a spiritual life and have found a relationship with God, something I never had growing up in a Catholic family. I’d like to make a difference to other women, whether in my work environment or outside of work, and find myself being drawn
to organizations serving women in need or women who are struggling with addiction.

I live in Rancho Palos Verdes and love to stay active. You will probably find me on the pickleball court, the gym, or another outside activity. I am divorced and have two daughters, Lindsay (21) and Megan (30). I am a Christian and attend The River Church in Redondo Beach.
